Industrial just off the M5 corridor Sold

Units 5 & 6, situated in Blackdown Business Park near the town of Cullompton, has been sold off an asking price of £475,000 by commercial property specialists Charles Darrow.

A great deal of interest was received following the launch of the pair of industrial units during the first quarter of 2020.  The site received multiple bids before terms were agreed to a leading, privately owned investment and property management company who own and manage a mixed commercial portfolio with some 11 million Sq. Ft of industrial space throughout the UK.

On agreement of terms, the units quickly progressed to an exchange and completion of contracts less than 4 weeks after instructing solicitors.

Charles Darrow were instructed to market the versatile freehold commercial site made up of some 7,000 sq ft including a large warehouse, office accommodation and car park, by Begbies Traynor Group,

Associate director, James Sanders commented: “Following instructions to market the site, we were inundated with interest from investors and operators, all of which were attracted by the unit’s location situated close to the M5”.

“The large level of interest is a further indication that light industrial property and commercial premises remains one of the strongest performing sectors in a challenging environment”

“With increasing requirements for industrial space in the South-West, coupled with high occupancy rates, demand is outstripping supply for good quality freehold industrial units”

“It has been a pleasure dealing with both sides on the sale, and I wish all involved all the best for the future”.

Should you be considering the sale of your commercial asset, Charles Darrow would be delighted to introduce a database of active buyers to your site with strong premiums being achieved.
