A holiday lodge development site in South Devon has been recently been sold off an asking price of £630,000, by Commercial Property Agents Charles Darrow.
Moorland Views, located just outside the thriving market town of Newton Abbot, is a relatively new leisure site with planning for a collection of 2 and 3 bed, bespoke holiday lodges designed and constructed by the team at Timber Venture. The site currently has 2 luxury lodges completed along with laid bases for a further 13 lodges, all of which boast breath-taking views over Dartmoor National Park.
The site, which was ripe for a leisure developer, was snapped up by the purchaser, Mr Saunders, following an initial viewing in March 2019 with the sale completing some 8 weeks later. The recent sale from Leisure experts Charles Darrow continues to buck the Brexit trend and proves the leisure market remains strong.
Charles Darrow Associate Director, James Sanders commented “Moorland Views is a superb site and one which, when fully developed, will be an excellent addition to the leisure provisions in the town”
“The sale of Moorland Views is a particularly satisfying milestone as this brings to a close the sale of site as a whole, following the completion of the former Prickly Ball Farm site which sold during the end part of 2018”
“It has been a pleasure to work with the purchasers on this, and I wish them every success for the future and look forward to watching the site grow”
“A special thank you to Kate Stamp of Stamp James Solicitors who acted for the sellers, who’s personal and professional approach was second to none throughout.”
